Have to agree with you there , whenever i am looking at small cap mining stocks the first thing i want to see is that they mining in Aust , that at least gives some comfort in knowing that some corrupt government aren't going to be changing the rules/costs every week to suit there own pockets. Can't recall which company it was but i remember someone had some deal setup in the DRC who's government then went and changed the percentage of how much they had to "contribute to the country" via royalties and it changed the companies profit margin significantly. I may miss some good investments but i prefer to stay away from many 3rd world countries.
