Yeah - if I am thinking linear dense things that are fault bound/perpendicular to stratigraphy in the Proterozoic then possibly thin Hematite-Carbonate veining/breccia zones is a possibility, down in that part of the world. Some of these can have very small but high grade copper with the specular hematite but they never amount to anything big (yet).
