My thoughts exactly, mate. It always mystifies me. Why sell today for under 37c? Did they believe the SP was on its way back to 30c? But it just seems to be the normal pattern on a generally negative market day. My long-held conclusion is that a sizeable chunk of holders in any stock are short-term traders, rather than people looking ahead to make serious profits. Short term trading can provide a decent income but I've seen time and again that the big money is made by those who correctly target developing companies with a sound financial footing, good management and great prospects in either a sought-after commodity or service and then stick with their judgement unless things change. Sure, WR1 may not discover a bonanza in this round of drilling but they've heaps of ground to explore for what is a hot commodity.
