Hey Wassa, fair enough if you think that, but... I view it as them having a very good understanding of the mineralisation with the mine potentially offering a 10+ mine life and it's still open. The actual hits are not that deep compared to many mines... plus, they likely won't even hit that section of the reef for many years. Again.... the continuity of the two reefs... they already understand it!
Find me another mid tier producer who has the ability to add (on top of) another 50k+ ounces per annum via an already developed decline?
Fender is indeed an option, but WB is smartly focused on economies of scale. 50k+ p.a if going to be more profitable than 20k+.
