The people stirring up excessive cyclone delays are being silly, but the dismissal of cyclone impacts is fantasy.. Pilgangoora region is cut off from the GNH via the Turner river, so a heavy cyclone will flood it, cutting off any sort of logistics until crossings can be done again. Work can still continue but delays could occur if any critical modular compenents are blocked off from being delivered. The Pilbara region has been very lucky in the last two cyclone seasons with minimal disruptions, however its tempting fate to say this luck will continue.
