The thing about known risks is they are managed. You develop contingency plans for what steps to take in the lead up to a storm event and what steps to take in the recovery.
Mining in WA and the Pilbara has been doing this for decades. People who are bent on wringing their hands over this should probably reconsider their position in mining investments if they think they will get a cardiac over this.
The rest of us will just turn on the pumps and keep the trucks rolling.
