    and your understanding of cut-off grades comes from where @plough?

    if mining costs are included in open pit cut-off grades:

    - why are open pit reserves declared at a single cut-off grade by ore type and not a variable cut-off reflecting depth of mining and higher incremental strip ratios?

    here's the reserve cut-off info from tietto's dfs

    mine operating cost = U$16.90 per tonne of ore
    mining cost included in cut-off grade estimate = U$0.53 - U$0.65 per tonne of ore
