thanks @ozbucheron appreciate your knowledge and input here, do you have an opinion on cost per tonne for CNB at Mt Hope. At $30.2 USD (older but figures) we would be very profitable at the 1.5% Cu rates. My rough simple calcs (excluding recovery rates etc to keep it simple):
@1.5% Cu we would need 67 tonnes of ore to get 1 tonne copper. 67*$30.2 = $2024 USD. Cu currently $8200 USD/t
Or thinking in reverse, to break even with copper price at $8200/t we could spend up to $122 USD per t AISC.
or I'm way off in my thinking.. any guidance good.
