They have already done a lot of work in the resource update and by now with all the infill drilling would have a better understanding of the most economical or cost effective way to extract the U/G ores. If so, then there is no reason why they should hold back, in mining the U/G ores if resources and finance do not pose any constraint. After all, the goal is to mine the U/G ore eventually and if this can be fast track then they should go for it. From the financial point of view, the more the better and they have a lot to make up for the Mar shortfall if that is the aim. Obviously they have to manage the cost and lets hope that there is no cost blowout otherwise it defeats the purpose of producing more gold.
As in life, the best layout plan can sometime go awry and the management should be flexible enough to take short term corrective actions if needed in order to meet the long term objective. A plan is just a guide and should be modified when and if needed.
