1) No one’s said it’s a new initiative

2) so if you apply for a job amongst countless others, and receive a job offer, would you not say you were ‘selected’? What difference does it make if AVL applied for it? That’s how the world works. Every day people apply for home loans, jobs, Medicare rebates etc.

This forum the last 6 months has been filled with rot like this trying to nitpick things or downplay positive sentiment. This means AVL can dial through to the EPA, WAPC, department of transport etc. and get assistance in a more timely fashion. It’s a great thing for AVL
