It is: "You, the government, are trying to expropriate our assets. We want to mine, but if you expropriate our assets without compensation, that would be unlawful and contrary to international law. That would be wrong. So, you will leave us with only one option in that case. So our message is, compromise".

Not really a strategy, just a statement of fact.

And, by the way, do you think the GoG or Denmark would want a court case like this hanging over the investment landscape of the country ?
