SynRock perhaps? A CSIRO sponsored invention if my memory serves me correctly from quite some years ago. A type of glass I believe special formulated for the purpose of encapsulating & imobilising permanetly nuclear waste such as is produced by the reactor at Lucas Heights. Un processed U238 in mine tailings however is not highly radioactive. Just an example to indicate that there are options infact
