Who is going to spend millions in Greenland looking for Critical Minerals when the Window of opportunity for Greenland to be a major part of the Green Transition is only going to be a couple of years, as the world is progressing sourcing these supply Chains NOW.
This Windowof Securing Supply Chains and resources is now under immense pressure with the conflict in the Ukraine which will most likely expand to other Countries of the Old Eastern Block that do not have protection from NATO..
Russia is a key supplier of Gas and Oil now putting pressure on increases in energy costs.
Any exploration in Greenland that has a uranium content above 100 ppm will be caput. Most of the new Critical Minerals for the green transition are found with Uranium and Thorium.....
In Naaja's release she also talked much about the influx of Foreign Workers are they going to be spread all up and down the Coast of Greenland....
At present they have no jobs -increasing social welfare - increasing cost to use a boat in the harbour - reduced revenue from fishing -- No Tourism - No gemstone Industry...
Now their is still a strong argument for GML at the negotiating table.....
IMO this will happen however the longer it takes to get to the table the worse it will become for Greenland...
At present Greenland does not have any active complete projects for the green transition it takes years to get anything off the ground.They have been talking about jobs and mining and rare earth's since at least 2010 that's at least 12 years so far.. From now to a new project after the resource is confirmed OK...
Say 10 years minimum..

IMO they have a window of about 2-3 years where they still have the opportunity to play a major part in the Green Transition. Naaja clearly states that she wants Greenland to be a major player in the way she has worded her release as posted by "reeinvester"
Yet Greenland have really nothing on the table just words and talk as they have been for the last 10 years or more See my post where I refer to Minister Hammond reasons for lifiting the uranium ban in 2013then Naaja Nathanielsen release as per "reenverster post".JOBS creating a Mining Industry and a pathway to Full Independence. So where are they all with that now after supporting GML for the last 10 years.
No jobs no Infrustructure to support Mining -No Tourism -No gemstone industry -Fishing going downhill....
IMO it is not unreasonable for the parties to sit at the table and find a Solution and a way forward....GML will be focussed on finding a pathway to the Negotiating Table..
