The real problem is, of course, that IA (i.e. the left) can't allow the mine because it would allow most, if not all Greenlanders to improve their standard of living from poor to what we would call middle class. That would be anathema to the left, which can only survive in power if the population is poor, and beholden to the government (the "elites") for handouts. A middle class, who can take care of themselves, can not be tolerated. Ergo, no mine while Nadja and her ilk have control. It is mandatory that a new coalition be formed, that has the welfare of all Greenlanders as their main goal, and not a political agenda.
