    Actually I do not know if it is a requirement or not for mineral exploration.
    Certainly companies that do a lot of drilling [like ncm] do not inform market as and when drilling commences - since updated in bulk, like per the quarterly.
    Offshore O&G companies that I have held inform market when spudded and then provide weekly updates - but that is a different sector
    I have not encountered mineral exploration companies providing weekly updates though - thus not a requirement

    However I do expect GRV will inform the market when drilling commences in ET - that is my take on GRV.
    [further - with the 3 month Alpha delay, then GRV would be very wise to put out "feel good" announcements when they can]
