Where does it say that they defaulted on their obligations? My understanding was that they were going to farm out Uluru for $1m plus free carry subject to ratification from the BIA. The BIA came back with a serious of hurdles which ELK are currently working through with the Crow nations before they resubmit their application to the BIA.
I would be interested in knowing where my understanding is incorrect.
