re: Ann: Gross Revenue up by 57% to 31 Octobe... Coming on the back of the upbeat commentary in the latest Annual Report, today's announcement of a 57% increase in gross revenue from July 31st until October 31st this year reinforces the progress ATP is making.

The latest pearl auction in Kobe, Japan yielded $1.7 million at 20% over reserve prices. This on the back of the July auction which delivered the best pearl price average since 2007 pre GFC.

A further auction is scheduled for December of this year. As stated in the Annual Report, barring any major economic shifts they expect average pearl prices to improve further.

The value added division continued to build momentum with sales of $855,000 to the end of October, up 20% on last year.

Essential Oils of Tasmania recorded sales of $801,000 to the end of October.

The Annual Report also mentioned the company has released its first cosmetics, Dream Sea Lip Gloss and Perlmist, and that they are currently part of a consumer trial with a view to have them featuring as part of an online pearl and perfume/cosmetic virtual store to be launched by the end of the year. World Senses was also said to be close to finalising some international agreements which will see Essential Oils of Tasmania supplying high quality, refined extracts into the global marketplace.

The above is hardly an exhaustive list of what ATP is currently working on, but it does give an indication that the company's turnaround is well and truly underway with at last some light at the end of the tunnel with a view to a much more positive and profitable future than what looked possible in the not-too-distant past.
