Good call JC. Understandably some holders were annoyed at the poor stock performance trading post the market announcements on the Group SGR CEO and some executives. Instead of displacing the full blame for SGR's precarious status on the Regulator, and the NSW Govt (who bailed them out just before midnight late in 2023, with scarce funds from the taxpayers struggling with cost of living and those energy bills), perhaps the responsibility should be with all those SGR Boards who openly scoffed at compliance obligations, but instead chose to a program of excessive executive remuneration, plus the $800,000 bonus to the then SGR Group CEO. It is incomprehensible why the SGR Board allowed this to happen in Qld and NSW, as the alternative to cooperation is total loss of the NSW Casino license, in the first instance.
