    GROWLER AND SNATCHER FIELDS UPDATE

Following recent heavy rains in northern South Australia that caused all roads to be shut and meant
that production from Impressf Growler Field had to be temporarily shut in, Impress advises that oil
shipments from the field have resumed and it is expected that the wells will be back on production
over the next few days as the oil inventory in the storage tanks at the facility is reduced.
The road closures also meant that the final work on the temporary production facilities at the
Snatcher Field has been delayed and we are advised by the Operator, Victoria Petroleum NL, that
first production from Snatcher]1 and Snatcher]2 is now expected to be on the 14th December 2009.
As the Growler wells were shut in, Impress has been encouraged by the well head pressure buildups
in all wells that suggest that there has been only slight pressure depletion in the field from
existing production. The build up data implies that there is strong aquifer support in the Birkhead
reservoir which is encouraging for ultimate recovery of oil from the field.

The PRL 15 and PEL 111 Joint Ventures comprises:
    Impress Energy Limited 40%
    Victoria Petroleum NL (Operator) 40%
    Roma Petroleum NL 20%
