    I take your point about RF possibly playing a long game (but personally I think he will move far quicker). I disagree about not having anything to feed into REDs plant. Tower Hill open pit is the logical starting point, then GMD could just fob off the DCN plant and create a pure low cost 400-500k p.a production hub within 30km of each other.

    RED is likely at peak production for the next 3 years, due to feeding the Darlot U/G ore into their hungry mill (Darlot has just under 3 years of reserves).
    Which would see RED's production profile slow to 165-175k (assuming nothing else changes with the mine plan or further plant expansion/throughput, or LOM extensions at Darlot).

    2027/2028 would see RF and GMD just brining Tower Hill into production, which would be a very pertinent time to make a move with the clear logic that trucking ore 100km to a plant half the size of KOTH, is not going to be as profitable as sending 20km up the road.

    I very much agree about RF and LT not being particularly interested in working together.....
