Sounds about right at current pellet prices. The cash holding would have increased by ~$37m had the increased inventory been sold last quarter. As we know, the inventory will be wound down Dec quarter, 4 ships already? and pellet production will be down November/December.
I don't know why people here are complaining about Chinese ownership. As Goodheart points out, at the time of need, it wasn't the Aussie holders or the Aussie government or the Tassie government that came to the rescue... they left the mine and factories to rot.
