I have a theory that hasnt turned up in prices or data yet so its should just be taken as that, a theory.
But with Evergrande and now Fantasia property developers defaulting on bond payments and particular Chinese investors not getting paid out on wealth management products, REITs etc.
There has been inflows from those investors to what they view as "safe" assets like Gold.
