hey, I also had pretty skeptical views towards these acquisitions. Like you said, there’s no insight into how much revenue they’re making and very little narrative on how they intend to integrate these two products (integration can be really hard and can take a long time).

I think the purchases were made to:

a) create a distraction (short lived might it be) and,
b) pump up the revenue line (although I suspect it’ll be pretty skinny), although this will probably pump up the expenses line by the same amount - because they look like pretty marginal businesses tbh

gsw management have enjoyed pretty loyal support up to here, it feels like the tide might be turning now (maybe not though).

definitely a big hit for holders today. Feeling for those guys right now.
