Having engaged the Big4 quite often I know it is impossible to get them to commit to anything!! in fact most times I was left wondering why I engaged them at all!

I do however disagree that this wont restore some credibility to GSW in the market place.

Rightly or wrongly the Big4 has a "good" reputation in the market place. I believe the market will view it as positive that GSW has opened themselves up for PWC to take a look at.

It is certainly better than going backward and forward answering ASX questions and it can seen as GSW being proactive rather than reactive or combative to the ASX.

The ASX will also take some comfort from PWC being engaged, in case it all goes pair shape in the future the ASX will point and say we've only the stupid ASX if PWC couldn't fix them how the hell could we?

Just on the 4c

I am not expecting it will settle the argument, GSW has been saying the second half of 2018 will see the real ramp up.

haha...PWC....give me a break. As you so correctly point out, they will never come to a conclusion in the report. All you ever read in Aus are gutless reports where the writers are too petrified to stick their necks out and take responsibility for anything
