the news on July 15 in us was about the covid severity test- placement came after (at a discount to last traded)

So maybe (I’m speculating of course) GTG didn’t think the news was significant at all (hence no asx Ann) but then saw the price moves in us and sold into it as quick as possible with a raise. Which would indicate to me that the move wasn’t justified.

also possible is that they knew the news was price sensitive and despite that didn’t announce to asx, hence the trading halt. Will found out next week I guess
