These rumours about a capital raise always coincide when the share price reaches it's fixed priced ceiling of 0.30c - 31c.
I'm calling out these rumours because COE:
a) couldn't possible push through more gas via Orbost with Manta field no where near ready
b) COE is commited to low cost Annie development with existing infrastructure and an Athena plant that can produce 150tj per day
c) buying Orbost would be an appalling use of capital with the above consideration
With extraordinary volume at 13.4 million shares yesterday and 10.6 million, I think someone who shorted CEO is getting really nervous.
How long can they hold on, if the interest on their short loans increase as the RBA lifts central banks rates...
Time to put the popcorn in the microwave.
