Good news on earnings, especially given State lockdowns/border closures and the problems with container shipping and resultant TEU (container) backlogs at major Australian ports but tempered by the historic alleged excess claiming of the Federal Government's Fuel Tax Credit.
For a company the size of LAU, to have to include a pre-tax expense of A$7.88 million in the 2020-21 FY result is significant.
