I used to live on this forum. It used to, and still has some excellent posters. The busyness of life along with being ground down by the occasional numpty that gets on here has caused me to step way a bit.

It is interesting dipping in here less often as I see the mood and reactive nature of the forum much clearer. There are steady hands that are constant and calm with a firm eye on the prize, then there are nervy types who swing from euphoria to doom and gloom and fizz out and then there are the obvious agenda driven down rampers who seem hell bent on pissing everyone off.

You expressed it really well in your post.

I must admit I miss the blissful ignorance that I enjoyed back in the day when all I had to go on was the SMH stocks pages over a coffee in Double Bay and the occasional telephone call to my broker. And I am not sure that the over analysis of the collective brain on here leaves me any the wiser.
