I've had the impression for some time now that the only purpose for OEL's existence is to pay the wages of old men who are sticking it out until their retirement. Announcements always lack a spring in the step, the company lacks motivation, and nothing ever seems to be going on in between the slowly evolving drills to create any excitement. They could have easily consolidated this dog's breakfast 12 months ago and then started a buyback campaign - this would at least stir some interest and get rid of the overhead supply while we wait for something else to happen. So easy to do - yet not for this mob who only seem capable of doing one thing at a time - which is not uncommon when you hit retirement age. So basically it's an energy company that lacks energy or passion! Sleepy old employees who are doing the absolute minimum for their take-home pay! E.
