The delay is because the funds haven't been received as per the announcements.
That's not to say your point above might not have exacerbated the delays and they are using the suspension to tidy everything up when trading starts again.
I know there are a lot of very big shareholders who will be looking to hold GMC management to account if the CI has pulled out. These things of course happen but continual disclosure requirements mean we should have know immediately as soon as this happened IF (and it's a big IF) this is what's transpired. It is on this basis that management must be judged.
I am still of the view all is in order but even if this is the case and the funds come through, GMC must, must, must work on their communication.
