If we put financial concerns aside (and I do appreciate that the 200k may seem noncommittal to some) - the issue of Pak's reputation should also not be undervalued. If anyone here has done business or are familiar with how things are done in some Asian countries - your name is often worth more than any capital. This investor is well respected and that carries weight locally. It just adds another drop of lubrication to the wheels that are turning. Is this a quantifiable factor we can just "math" out with probability? Of course not but neither is "goodwill" with buying a brick and mortar business. His reputation and influence in the area should hold some sway and this will no doubt aid in GMC's efforts. Or I could be completely wrong and local government actually hates him..... Either way, there's no point speculating now because you've already speculated by buying into GMC - less stressful for all of us if we just wait it out and cross our fingers
