Well I have been aware of the view that assets are overpriced. However during Covid and the free money for all I have thought that the only way forward is inflation. We saw a bit of it but I have also seen a capital style of inflation so houses go up rapidly but it doesn't seem to be part of the calculation. For governments to be able to afford the interest on the loans they have to increase values and collect more revenue. Its really the only way forward as I see it.
So maybe we are now in the phase of revaluing the assets we have... So maybe we start accepting lower returns but higher values. So maybe just maybe we are into another leg up. Much like no indexation of $3 million Super for tax...
