Prudent management, which suits me.

Is anyone close to SBM and know whether or not they have considered robotic and driver-less techology? FMG use driver-less trucks for ore hauling, and whilst they are reliant on GPS techn ology which needs access to the open sky, similar proximity and line of sight technology exists which isn't reliant on GPS and could be deployed underground. I'm assuming it could be deployed underground, anyway.

Then with appropriate wifi and robotic tech, miner could conceivable mine ore remotely with camera based "drivers" on ground. There would be an ongoing and semi-frequent need for maintenance crews / bit changing crews / breakdown crews to attend the drilling site, but clearly this direct human connection could be minimised which in turn provides a safer environment for all.
