the one thing I’d add in terms of margins... I suspect Veem have calculated what sort of price point will allow them to capture market share and revenue without attracting too much competition too quickly.
given the size of the market I suspect management have decided to take low 40’s, rather than mid 40’s or potentially higher, to help adoption (a gp margin of 40% on 100 mil revenue, is a heap better than a 45% margin on 20mil).
in the scheme of things 13mil development costs aren’t that high given the market opportunity, so to me, keeping competition at bay is critical here.
