BAP reported EPS 9.66 growth of 21.2% which includes the Hellaby transaction. Excluding that Underlying EPS 10.64, up 33.4%
Messy results what with all the acquisitions. A key metric for me is same store sales which saw Burson Trade up a pleasing 5% & Autobarn only 2.8%.
The retail side of the business is a personal bug bear. As an investment I traditionally avoid retail stores & when I invested in BAP it was trade focussed only. Perhaps I'll grow to appreciate the retail & service side of the business.
