    I worked for a major Bapcor competitor a few years ago. Our deep experience was that car servicing can only be put off for so long otherwise a routine service could turn into a nasty repair. What the Bapcor CEO said about delays was absolutely spot on.

    I think the delay spooked fund majors who thought Bapcor was not only bullet proof but scud missile proof. All of the cars will get serviced including all those now ageing cars that many people are extending owning rather than swing into a new vehicle purchase.

    The more it goes down the more I am going to buy at the bottom and then wait for the cycle to turn in a year or two.
