Been thinking about this recently. So putting a few points out there for feedback/criticism:

Although a lot depends on the operational performance of the company, the industry itself is getting some tailwinds which should help over the next few years.

An aging stock of cars on the road, due to:

1. new cars are simply unavailable. Supply chain issues, transport issues. A mate was looking for a new car and was told 12-18 months wait!
2. New cars are also unaffordable for above reasons. Car yards and car makers have put up the prices knowing customers will pay up.
3. Interest rates also pushing new car affordability out of reach- looks like car loan rates are 7% or more

All this adds up to existing cars being held for longer, requiring more servicing/repairs.
