I haven't looked back to see what were the pricing conditions of the hedge when taken but to allow it to get so far out of the money whilst the Gold price has been grinding higher was an epic mistake by their Corporate Treasurer and CFO. I bet the RRL bankers / financiers on the other side of that hedge were popping bottles of champagne when that trade was closed.
