Exactly. Dividend for this year is up 29% yet NPAT is up a mere 11%. Something has to give. They will need to walk back on the prior dividend guidance or prodivea whopper of a NPAT in the second half of FY22.
To me this does not read well and I would have expected a larger decline in the SP. I think the price is some way off the all time high already and this has limited the fall in SP.
The only silver lining for me is this could provide a good top up opportunity..
