Davfitz is still here. Always said I was long term on HDR and in fact I bought some more last week. Not been posting much as HC search function being U/S was driving me crazy.
The way I see it a "result" on Ching 2 will have a larger impact than some of you may be considering. Ching 1 as good as it was will not likely be commercially recoverable on its own although this is debatable depending on whether you listen to Ted or Woodside who always play Mauritainia down. Heard in the wind that Woodside are looking at a bigger slice of HDR than the 10% they currently own. Not much of a surprise I guess.
More oil will mean that Mauritainia is definitely an oil province and is commercial without doubt and that will create an awful lot of interest.
Due to all the turmoil in the markets at present HDR are not getting the attention that otherwise would be the case. I believe that in a better financial climate we would be looking at 90-$1 at this stage of the drill.
