Xero is posting big $ revenue increases on already big t/o numbers. It is much more difficult to post a 30% increase in revenue when your revenue is already $1b+ than say 30% increase for NEA on $160m t/o.

These increases show the strength of their platform and level of user support.

Xero collects its income by DD. A big positive. How many businesses can advise their users of a 9% fee increase and collect it all automatically each month?

On top of this XRO earns 30% commission on the connected apps. The preso mentions the desire for specialised apps for many businesses.

I don't know what the impact of the CEO leaving is on the business but the market is showing it's concerns today.

As far as Intuit having an upper hand in the US market and it being a pain to switch systems....MYOB and QuickBooks had the market share in AU...but we (small business and public accounting) made the effort to switch to a better product. Jetconvert makes conversions from MYOB/QB less painful. Interestingly MYOB does not offer a simple transition path from XRO to MYOB.

Finally, the fact ANZ walked from purchasing MYOB upon closer inspection...gives me further confidence XRO is destroying their AU client base.

A negative... XRO product can't do deposit (sales orders) invoices. This is a big downer for construction, business needing progress payments and business seeking money before they start work.
