Let us start earlier. Nothing has gone wrong at upstart. Market got carzy; executives warned against excuberance even at the time. Upstart needed to keep loans based on experimental models in its balance sheet (but the market is suspicious).
I see nothing wrong with this whole thing. The wrong here is "Claude" who "analyzes" based on superstition and heresay.
