Vamos is 65 and has finished executing against his 3 year strategy. Sure not all elements have been perfect but has done a good job through Covid continuing to grow revenue. The company is a revenue growth profit over profit and if you don’t like that model go elsewhere. Not the flavour of the moment but some amazing SaaS companies have been built using it. The new CEO seems like a pretty good fit for what they are after. Good entrepreneurial background combined with scale saas at google. The make or break of Xero is international so think right to pick an international exec. They would have been working on this for a while and appears to me to be a well executed transition. Look forward to her strategy for the next three years.
