Kind of... for Zip Pay they don't, for Zip Money they do. For Zip Pay they make a tiny amount on interchange fees if you use a debit card, if you use a credit card like me they wouldn't make as my credit card provider would charge them an interchange fee. They also lose on the interest for the 30 days I have credit drawn down.
Zip Money is the product that brings in the dough. If I were Larry I would charge a $1-2/month fee on Zip pay for people who consistently pay on time. That would bring in a decent amount of revenue. The question he'd need to know is how many people who pay on time would be willing to pay $1-2/month.
