They added ~$7.6m to intangibles in the half and amortised away ~$3m. A $4.6m intangibles growth in the context of a marketplace business spending almost $14m in salaries and admin expenses in the half doesn't feel wildly out of kilter to me @JoeGambler what would you suggest is a more reasonable level of capitalisation?
You need to bear in mind the website development they've done has underpinned a >300% revenue CAGR over the past 4 years. This makes it appear the investment has been targeted pretty well I'd have thought?
I'd be very happy with their expensing 100% of these costs, but I'd hazard the ATO might not be so keen on that approach...- Eternalgrowth
