@eternalgrowth, It is simply an observation. I know that the valuation of the business is underpinned by above average margins. I then see material capitalisation of intangibles (relative to the expensed wage bill) in the cash flow statement. I am also suprised that given it is not a tech company, it's an online retailer, that it would need to spend so much on software development. It raises an eyebrow, that is all.
oh and I can see in the latest half a very big increase in marketing spend, I suspect that had more to do with sales growth than new features on the website.
