Hi Mcappa, no, you're not misinterpreting, that's pretty much how I see it. Appraising on the existing 2D data was perhaps a risky call (note how different the current depth map is from the one below that they were using in August 2022) but was may have been justified to try and move things along quickly.



Given Strike obtained pre-test mobility data both SE2 and SE3 when the wells were originally drilled (confirming the permeability of the reservoir - unlike what was observed further south at Trigg-1), it seems unlikely to me that the reservoir quality is too poor to obtain reasonable production rates, so long as they stay away from the GWC.

It is notable however that I can't see any mention of wireline fluid sampling from the SE2 or SE3 ASX releases (despite pressures & mobilities being obtained) - I would love to know whether this was attempted (and failed), and if it wasn't attempted, why not.
