that is a very good observation. This was a big part of the problem with WGO negotiations, but there were other issues at play also - egos!
TPD was sold the same story! In fairness to STX, SE1 was a stunning success, why couldn't SE2&3 be the same? And initially, it looked the case. Unfortunately 12 months later, not so.
I know myself, I didn't want STX to give away too much to WGO. So I can't blame STX for their actions.
