The Go2Lithium (G2L) cDLE® process utilises sorbents fromspecialised manufacturers, which are continuously being enhanced for lithiumloading capacity, impurity rejection, and mechanical strength.
In the LithiumBank pilot, the selected sorbent demonstratedexcellent lithium loading and impurity rejection but did not meet the necessarymechanical strength for sustained multi-cycle operation. The sorbentmanufacturer has identified the issue and is actively working on improvements.
G2L is collaborating with multiple sorbent manufacturers to ensurethat future sorbents meet the mechanical strength requirements for optimalperformance in the cDLE® process.
