"interest income" is a core component of their business.
It is tantamount to stating the same with respect to a bank or credit institution. Do you think someone would say, oh yes - but if you take away interest income - CBAs results are poor.
The rest of the business will consolidate and move forward (IMO) but it's ludicrous to downplay interest income.
I am not trying to influence your decision to buy. This stock is utterly chaotic when it comes to price swings.
